Built around the PrecisionFit™ thread form, Ares™ connections feature a negative load flank to resist jumpout, stepped thread crests for deep stabbing and quick makeup, and internal and external torque shoulders for rotating through difficult well profiles.
The family includes Ares™, a true-flush connection designed to maximize clearance while providing greater tensile capacity than typical flush-joint designs, and Ares™ EUE, an integral upset connection that provides enhanced strength and torque capacity for tubing and workstring applications. Both configurations eliminate the cost and complexity of an unnecessary metal-to-metal seal while delivering the structural performance required for demanding operations.
